Today’s Sketch Dailies topic was Medusa. I tend to want to sympathize with characters that are supposed to be villains.
Hercules in the Den of Nine Headed Lernaean Hydra
This one totally was a surprised piece. I had come up with some initial sketches, but nothing seemed right. Then I decided to go ahead and color the last drawing in and it kind of came together during the painting process. Which by the way is not the best way to come up with a piece. But in this rare occasion it did. Hope you enjoy it 🙂
