So today’s Sketch Dailies topic was Gremlins. I decided I wanted to show the Mogwai as well. I loved this movie when I was a little kid. I cant believe that I wasn’t afraid of the Gremlins. I used to carry a small Gizmo doll that squeaked when you shook it (sounds awful now that I think of it) lol. But for today’s sketch I wanted to show the metamorphosis of a Mogwai to Gremlin.

Another piece for Sketch Dailies. The topic was mermaid so I decided to go for a fire based one. I’ve always loved the idea of mermaids of different elements. She’s almost like a goddess.

This was for Sketch Dailies. The topic was “Robot Monster”, which I learned was 1950’s movie that is considered one of the worst movies ever created. I decided to focus on the villain’s love for the eldest daughter of the Hu-mans he was sent to destroy.

Aphrodite arises from the sea foam, or is it shampoo? Last Friday’s Sketch Dailies that I had to put on hold to work on my CGMA homework.
My friend Justin Wood http://jwood3d.wordpress.com/ asked to model one of my old sketches from my sketchbook. I love seeing how it was interpreted from 2D to 3D with just a side profile. Check out his website!
Finding time to work on Sketch Dailies has been quite a challenge with work and classes starting on CGMA. But I at least try to get a good sketch in so when I get the chance I can take it into Photoshop to flesh it out more. Here is Billy the Kid the initial sketch along with the final colored version.

Here is my version of the memorable “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” character Jessica Rabbit.
