The Gingerbread Man Meets His Fate
The Three Billy Goats Gruff
This weeks Colour Collective was Blue Bell. Decided to explore one of my favorite childhood stories of “The Three Billy Goats Gruff.” I still remember in kindergarten we had our big school play. One of the stories was the 3BGG. I really wanted to be one of the goats. I did so well in the auditions, I got the lead roll in another play as the Gingerbread Boy. Still to this day, I remember how much I wanted to be a goat lol
Owl and the Pussycat
The Pumpkin Patch Kid
This weeks Colour Collective was Sweet Potato. I’ve had a story that I’ve been trying to figure out concerning a little pumpkin patch kid. He has no friends because hes different from all the other kids in school, so he decides to build himself one. But it will not be an easy task.
How to Care for Your Cloud
My Colour Collective Illustration for Opal Grey. I literally woke up at 3 am this morning with this dream so I quickly sketched out a rough drawing of it and later today I colored it in. I had dreamed that I had a collection of cloud pets that I kept in jars. To feed them I gave them stars. It was so vivid that it woke me up. Yes, I might be a bit crazy, but as long as their dreams like this, then I’m fine with that lol
Herd of Flamingo Vultures
This weeks Colour Collective was Plaster Pink. Another strange dream I had was one about flamingo/vulture hybrid that attacks as a flock and when they run they create a cloud the makes them look like they’re one single creature. So this illustration was based off these strange and funny looking creatures. lol
The Magical Mini Puddle Whale
This illustration was for Colour Collective color Air Force Blue. I recently had a dream about a mini magical whale that lived in a puddle/ pond in the forest near my house. It must of been a funny whale cause I was told I was laughing in my sleep when I was dreaming about my new friend. I really want to focus on making original content, so my new mini whale friend might make future appearances.
Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Book Cover Design
For this years Holiday Campaign with my agency The Bright Group, they asked a few of us to come up with an illustration or book cover design for the classic Christmas ghost story
Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Ive always love ghost stories, so I was excited to do my piece for the campaign.
