Decided to re-explore these past Vintage Cover Reimagined prompts in my style. The first one was a Little Golden Book called “The Road to Oz” and the second is “Peter Pan” adapted by Pheobe Wilson, originally illustrated by Ruth Wood.
Last Fall I got to do some character designs for a commercial with ATKPLN. I’ve worked with them on a few other commercials before. This one was the first time I explored a whole lineup of characters in 3 different styles before settling on the one that we used for the commercial. Here’s a link to ATKPLN’s website: https://www.atkpln.com/work/be-you?fbclid=IwAR05KaT559ADA4UQa3PfLnajGw7hKYb-EuSwvPit4pPjVucKk5BtcdeXWts

Glad to be back at doing the weekly prompts for Animal Alphabets. This round we have been focusing on Monsters from movies or books. So A was Audrey II from the “Little Shop of Horrors”, B is for “Babadook”, C for “Creature from the Black Lagoon”, D for Demogorgon from “Stranger Things”, E for “Edward Scissorhands”, and F for “The Fly”.

Here are the first 8 characters in a lineup for Animal Alphabets Fairy Tale Edition: A for Alice, B for Big Bad Wolf, C for Cowardly Lion, D for Dwarf Long Nose, E for Elves and Shoemaker, F for Frog Prince, G for Golden Goose, and H for Humpty Dumpty.

Here are the three starter characters from Pokemon: Sun and Moon: Litten, Rowlet and Poppilo. Since they are not evolved, I always imagine them starting off as kids.
Here is an illustration I made for my illustration agency, The Bright Group International/ The Bright Group USA. It was for their 4th of July campaign they sent out to all their clients. I was honored to have been one of the few chosen to be featured. Enjoy!

Here it is!!! Come support my first art store on Storenvy! My first sketchbook is available for purchase now. Just go to http://edwardiantaylor.storenvy.com/ Once I get the rest of my prints, I’ll post those for purchase. I also have originals that I’ll post for sale as well. Go and buy my book so I can make vol.2 for next year!!! I’ll even do a doodle or two in it just for you! Also a neat feature is that its got a screw binding so you can take pages out and frame them, so its like a book of prints.
