So I was working on my layout for the next Misadventure illustration with my movie monster theme, and I came across a piece I started in the beginning of the year. I looked at it and wondered why I stopped and only finished the background. So I went back and started editing the original drawing and came up with a bit more personalities in the characters, and decided to give Samurai more of a dog in the car window look. I mirrored this with the dragon with his tongue out too. But here is a little preview of what I’ve done. And yes, I decided that this dragon has fur . . . “Neverending Story” throw back.

She’s quite the Wicked Witch
So its been awhile since my last post. I’ve been working on getting things more organized in my portfolio site. I’m hoping that with the new portfolio and my recent work all organized that I might be one step closer to finding a job. Fingers crossed. But here is another one of my movie monsters for the Misadventure of Samurai and Eddie. Its my version of a witch. Not anyone one specific, but one that came to me while I was doodling in my sketchbook. Enjoy!
Sunday Night Quick Sketch
I felt the need to draw a human this evening. So I did a one hour quick sketch. I had the pose in my head, but was not quite sure where it would take me. Eventually I came up with this futuristic solider with a lazer gun and sword. I called her laser lady. I added a cigarette as if she just lit it with her gun. Enjoy 😉

The Creature from the Black Lagoon Character Sheet
Dracula the Vampire Character Sheet for “Misadventures”
Since I’m working on the next “Misadventure of Samurai and Eddie”, I thought the next classic movie monster to add to the roster would be Dracula. The next one will be The Creature from the Black Lagoon. I had already started some thumbnails and I think I have him down. I’m super excited to start him next. Hope you enjoy 😉
Princess the Other Pet Demon for Spellbook Page
Here is Princess. As you can see she is other than that, so don’t let the pink, purple, and white fur fool you. She’s another pet demon for the Spellbook page that I’m illustrating. This one took some time since I’m working on my illustrations on and off when I’m not working. Hope you enjoy her as much as it was for me creating her.
Sketching My Friend Melissa
This Saturday, my friend Melissa came over to watch the Season 2 thus far of “Game of Thrones”. Part of the visit too was that I could sketch her while she posed and watched all the shows she’s missed during the new season. She’s awesome. There was no real theme for the poses, just her watching television. She came up with some great poses. Thanks Missy! Hope you all enjoy 😉
