Decided to take an old drawing I did and apply some new techniques that I’ve learned since then. I was told by a friend that I should do more pieces that depend less on line and more on shape. So here is one that I decided to explore that with. Hope you enjoy it.

Its been awhile since Samurai and Eddie got into a Misadventure . . .
Little Red Sketch
Taking a break from grading so I did a quick sketch. I was told by an artist friend that I need to work more on colors with higher saturation and less relying on my line work. Although my work tends to lean toward the darker tones and seems more comicbook-ey, I’m finding that I enjoy colors. Still I need more work for practice. Hope you enjoy

Otter Quick Sketch
Donatello Quick Sketch
Growing up in the 90s, I collected everything Ninja Turtles. Today I still have all my action figures stored away in a trunk in my attic. Yesterday, a quick thumbnail sketch of my version of Donatello while sitting at my desk at work. Sitting at my computer at home, I scanned it in and before I knew it I had detailed out the sketch and I had colored him in. Its been some time since I’ve done any quick sketches, so here he is all fleshed out. I hope you enjoy 😉
Cold Front = More Starbucks Lid Characters
Starbucks Lid Characters 2012
So last year I started drawing on my Starbucks coffee lids for fun. With no planning, I would just doodle something on the lid. Since they came back out with my favorite Pumpkin Spiced Latte, I started getting hot beverages again. So here are my recent character lids.
For last years lids go to https://edwardiantaylor.com/illustrations-working/starbucks-lid-characters/
Enjoy:)
