So I recently saw the Avengers. So I was doodling and a pose came to me and it started to look more like my rendition of the Black Widow. It was a 1 hr sketch so I thought it was a good warm up. Hope you enjoy.

Another Spellbook Page “Pet Demons”
So here are some character sketches I made for my next Spellbook page “How to Care for Your Pet Demon”. I came up with these three characters. It started with Princess in the middle, Boris on the right, and Meatloaf on the left. I’ll start fine tuning their drawings before going into coloring. Hope you enjoy 😉
A New Character Sketch
Dr. Sketchy’s Dallas May 2012
This was another great time at Dr. Sketchy’s on Sunday. Our model was Taffeta Darling. There was an interesting difference in her choice of garb during this session. She started off in puffy princess dress, then 70’s Marvel Girl, and ended with Bat Girl. I really liked the character poses that she did as the princess as you can see my favorite one in the middle. I think its always difficult to hold really dynamic poses for comic book type characters especially towards the end where she held poses for longer than ten minutes. Still, I ended up with some great sketches;) If you are interested in past figure sketches from Dr. Sketchy’s Dallas, you can find them on my website. Enjoy ;D
Another Misadventure with Samurai

So after the Spellbook page with the Ware wolf, I thought what if I kept with the monster theme like in the fishing adventure. So I decided it would be good practice with fur and trying to create a moon image from scratch. So here is “Howling at the Moon” I did this on and off for the last two weeks while working and doing things for “Cauldron Bubbles”. It was lots of fun, and I even had moments when I got to a specific point and Photoshop crashed. I think with Spotify, Castleville, and me working on Photoshop, my computer couldn’t handle it all. But I hope you enjoy the finished piece.
